Workshop discusses topics related to civic organizations as intermediate

The INCT / CEM organizes the 3rd and March 4th (Thursday and Friday) an international workshop to discuss the progress of the partnership between the team of NIED-UFRJ (Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Inequality), coordinated by Elisa Reis, the CIESAS (Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios en Antropología Social Institutions, Mexico), coordinated by Ernesto Vera Isunza and INCT / CEM, coordinated by Adrián Gurza Lavalle.

The meeting will also see the presence of two external observers: Marisa von Bülow, UnB, and Felix Garcia Lopez, IPEA.

The team activities involve sharing of databases of different nature (surveys, networking, interviews and focus groups) on civil society and its interactions with the state. Thus, it is expected that the exchange will allow unprecedented comparative analysis between different cities in Brazil and Mexico.

Workshop addressed issues related to civil society organizations as intermediaries.

The INCT/CEM (National Institute of Science and Technology Center for Metropolitan Studies) hosted an international workshop to discuss the progress of the partnership between the team of NIED-UFRJ (Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Inequality), coordinated by Elisa Reis, the CIES (Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios en Antropología Social Institutions, Mexico), coordinated by Ernesto Vera Isunza and INCT/CEM, coordinated by Adrián Gurza Lavalle.

The meeting was also attended by two external observers: Marisa von Bülow, UnB, and Felix Garcia Lopez, IPEA (Institute of Applied Economic Research).

The team activities involved sharing databases of different natures (surveys, networking, interviews and focus groups) on civil society and its interactions with the state. The purpose of the exchange was to allow comparative analysis between unpublished different cities in Brazil and Mexico.
