POST-EVENT

The coordinator of the LabProdam of the Municipality of São Paulo, Alexandre Calil, made a presentation about the institution that is introducing new technologies to modernize the PMSP, such as image processing, natural language processing, the Internet of Things, and even games. The seminar proposal was to make known the initiatives of this laboratory that is revolutionizing the municipal administration. In his presentation, the specialist detailed the work initiatives of LabProdam that cover the most diverse areas of the municipality, from the consolidation of service data (SAC) to the search for innovative solutions for issues related to health, social assistance, zoonoses, transportation (cycling counter), among many others in the scope of municipal management, including the use of geoprocessing tools.

The seminar took place in the Building of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFLCH-USP), University City, Butantã Campus and was attended by researchers, members of the legislature, and students from other USP units (mathematics, public health and engineering, among others).
