On Wednesday, April 6th, the post-doctoral fellow researcher at the Center for Metropolitan Studies, Anthony Boanada Fuchs (PhD Development Studies by the Graduate Institute Geneva), presents the seminar in which discusses the Minha Casa Minha Vida program. The presentation is based on post-doctoral research on the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program (PMCMV). After a broad introduction on this national housing program, Boanada Fuchs will present the literature on the subject, produced between 2009-2015. He will also focus on research methods on which applied his empirical challenges. He will also present preliminary results on the institutional limitations of PMCMV.

POST-EVENT

The post-doctoral researcher at CEM, Anthony Boanada Fuchs (PhD in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute in Geneva) presented a seminar which analyzed the Minha Casa Minha Vida housing program. The lecture was based on post-doctoral research conducted at CEM/CEPID on the My House, My Life program (PMCMV). After a general introduction to his research trajectory, which included comparative investigations with other international programs members of BRICS (India and South Africa), the researcher focused on the Brazilian housing program. Boanada-Fuchs outlined the general guidelines concerning the most recent literature on the subject, produced between 2009-2015. He also highlighted research methods in which he applied his empirical challenges. He also exposed some of the preliminary results on institutional limitations of PMCMV.
