Schools and Performance: Beyond the idyllic and irrelevance

The Center for metropolitan Studies carries out, on September 18th at the Cidade Universitária,  the seminar "Schools and Performance: Beyond the idyllic and irrelevance".

The aim is to highlight the mechanisms related to school performance. It will present the results of a revision of the academic literature that relates the role of schools with school performance. From the disciplines of Education, Political Science, Sociology, Economics and Administration, was undertaken a cross-sectional analysis of the ideas identified in the review of each area.

The exhibitors are Charles Kirschbaum - Doctorate in Business Administration (FGV), Insper professor and researcher at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM) and Gabriela Lotta - Doctorate in Political Science (USP), and UFABC professor and researcher at the Center Metropolitan Studies (CEM).

The Center for Metropolitan Studies hosted the seminar titled, “Schools and Performance: Beyond the idyllic and irrelevance,” which aimed to highlight the mechanisms related to school performance.
