Precarious settlements: Diagnosis of slums in the cities of São Paulo macro-metropolis cities (2013)
These two reports completed in mid-2013 present results of a study conducted by the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM) for the Foundation of Management Development (FUNDAP), requested by EMPLASA (São Paulo State Company of Metropolitan Planning) and CDHU (Company of Housing and Urban Development), relating to “Diagnosis of slums in the cities of São Paulo Macro-metropolis cities.”
The object of this work is the identification and characterization of housing problems and inadequacies in the territories of the municipalities of the metropolitan areas of São Paulo - MASP; Campinas - RMC, Santos - RMBS and the Paraíba Valley and North Coast - RMVP-LN, beyond the Agglomeration City of Jundiaí.
