Full schedule II Workshop Urban Studies -September 16th and 17th, 2014
Achievement: Study Group of Anthropology of the City (USP), NaMargem (Center for Metropolitan Studies / UFSCar) and Laboratory of Urban Studies (CPDOC / FGV).
The Second Workshop of Urban Studies at USP will congregate different generations of research on Brazilian cities. The debates will put into dialogue traditional themes of Social Sciences, such as labour, politics and religion, as well as contemporary themes such as violence, urban mobility, marginal territories and recent insurgencies. The event is a joint initiative of research groups at USP, CEM, FGV-RJ, CEBRAP and UFSCar, aiming to fertilize the discussions area.
Open to all interested parties without prior registration.
