Research on social networks, done by CMS’s research team, is the focus of a story published in FAPESP Agency on May 7, 2010. The feature shows evidence that poor people with social ties only with family, neighbors and friends tend to have worse living conditions.

Eduardo Marques and Tiaraju D'Andrea, from CMS's research team, are among the specialists interviewed by Continuum magazine, for a special issue on the periphery of metropolises, published in June/July by Itaú Cultural. 

The program, aired by Eldorado radio from São Paulo on March 20, 2010, features an interview with CMS’s director, Marta Arreteche, who talks about Brazilian inequalities and the international seminar promoted by the Center in March 2010.
