The Bayesian Paradigm Yesterday, today and tomorrow
SEMINAR METHODOLOGY CEM SERIES 2016 “THE BAYESIAN PARADIGM YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW”
INSPER professor, Hedibert F. Lopes, will make a presentation which will addresses, in general, the differences between Bayesian and frequentist paradigms in quantitative approaches. He argues that the modeling of unstructured data—that witnessed major expansion—is made easier or possible only within the Bayesian approach. The professor made a parallel between Bayesian methods applied Machine Learning.
