Centre for Metropolitan Studies releases the third edition of the Bulletin with the production of the researchers in recent months.

A periodical online publication, the Pontocem Bulletin collects and disseminates the production work on research developed at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM). Currently the CEM’s three main lines of research are: a) Market, and work opportunities, b) Living conditions, state and public policies and c) Sociability and urban life.

The Pontocem Bulletin presents the bibliographic reference of all works and works at the Center: books, book chapters, articles in scientific journals, and as well as theses and dissertations by researchers, including also the series of texts for discussion, published online by CMS (who rely on counting the number of ISSN - International Standard Serial Number). In this third issue was included the production of the first half of 2011, much of which can be accessed freely via the Internet (links included).

The Center for Metropolitan Studies is one of the Research, Innovation and Diffusion (Cepid) from FAPESP and a National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT). The references address topics related to: work, poverty, social networks, segregation, slums, gender, race, public policy, culture, among others.
