SELECTION PROCESS FOR FAPESP/CNPq’S POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS ON CEM/CMS - Final result of the 2012 selection

The Centre of Metropolitan Studies (CEM/CMS) announces the closing of the selection process for Fapesp and CNPq’s post-doctoral research scholarships on CEM/CMS. For public notice CEM spreads here the final result with the names of the three chosen candidates by the Selection Committee.

The names of the selected researchers are: Elize Fonseca, Jose Szwako, Megha Amrith and Ricardo Ceneviva.

According to the public notice below this selection was made taking into account the candidates’ curriculum vitae and their trajectory as far as the merits of their proposals keeping in view its relationship to the research of the CMS. The selection happened also by considering the candidates performances in the interviews.

The Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM) is an interinstitutional research center headquartered at Cebrap (the Brazilian Center of Planning and Analysis). Participating parties include the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Humanities at the University of São Paulo (FFLCH/USP), Fundação Seade (the State System for Data Analysis Foundation), Inpe (the National Institute for Space Research), as well as the TV channels Sesc and TV Cultura. It receives funding from FAPESP, through its CEPID Program – Center for Research, Innovation and Diffusion – CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel )and from CNPQ (the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development), via the National Institutes of Science and Technology Program.
