The researcher of the CEM, livre-docente Professor at Department of Political Science University of Sao Paulo, Eduardo Marques, assumes the special coordination assistant to the project linked to the preparation of the report on the state of art of the social sciences on Sustainable Development. The researcher will contribute to the editorial committee of the report, under the responsibility of the International Social Science Council (ISSC) of Unesco. At the moment this project call for contributions to 2013 World Social Science Report.

The Special Programs, funded by Fapesp's own property resources, include programs created by the Foundation aimed at training human resources in strategic areas or where there are reduced numbers of staff, modernizing the physical infrastructure of the state research system, ensuring researchers with electronic access to data and information about Brazil and abroad, to disseminate the research activity and induce the development of research in frontier areas or specific importance.
