WORKING PAPERS SERIES CEM, maintained by the Centre for Metropolitan Studies, is a space intended to accommodate works that constitute "work in progress" on issues related to the research of the CEM (Centre for Metropolitan Studies). The series has ISSN, and texts received are submitted to peer review. Researchers may submit papers from CEM, its partners and external collaborators on projects that have developed in the research institution that gave rise to the text. Submission guidelines:

1. Themes: The series is meant to include "work in progress" papers on issues related to research conducted at the CMS (Center for Metropolitan Studies). Authorship: The papers must be authored by researchers from the CMS, its national and international partners and external collaborators who have developed at the institution the research that led to the text.
2. Peer review: The suggested text will be submitted to at least one peer review, by specialist in the area, preferably from the Center for Metropolitan Studies, who will assess its adequacy for the series and may suggest modifications.
3. Presentation: Manuscripts should be submitted in Word format file (final doc or docx), with pages in A4 format, 1.5 spacing, Times New Roman (size 12) or Arial (font 11), with graphics included in the body of the text.
4. Extension: There is no limit to the number of pages, although it is desirable that regular texts do not exceed 30 pages.
5. Identification: The author - or authors - must include their names, institution and e-mail only on the cover, so that the identity may be omitted in the version sent to peer review. Abstract and keywords: The author - or authors - must attach an abstract of up to 700 characters and a list of up to five keywords, both in Portuguese and English, along with the body of the text.Resumo e palavras-chave: O(A) autor(a) – ou autores(as) – deve anexar resumo de até 700 toques e lista de com até cinco palavras-chave, ambos em português e inglês, acompanhando o corpo do texto.
