The geo-coded database of AIH-SUS (Hospital Inpatient Authorization) referring to the Municipality of São Paulo was updated until 2016 by the Center for Studies of the Metropolis (CEM / Cepid) team.
This work represents an update, based on data from the 2010 Demographic Census of the Atlas Baixada Santista: socio-spatial diversities, produced in 2007 by the Núcleo de Estudos de População "Elza Berquó" (Nepo) and Núcleo de Econo
The public areas database (which includes streets, avenues, walkways, bridges and viaducts), is perhaps the most significant within CEM’s cartographic archive of the São Paulo Metropolitan Region (SPMR).
In this special area are offered science dissemination pieces within the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM / Ridc) scope, which may include video productions, periodical booklets for large and academic audiences, courses, among other initiatives.
